As a Program Specialist at Seattle Maritime Academy, Julianna uses her unique blend of skills and experience to excel in coordinating and optimizing academic programs, ensuring they meet high standards and effectively support the needs of students.

Before joining the Seattle Maritime Academy,  Julianna served as a Nursing Program Specialist and HR Consultant with Seattle Colleges, where she developed expertise in communication, data management, and career support. This experience has honed their ability to provide comprehensive resource information and career advice, crucial for guiding students and enhancing program efficacy.. 

In addition to professional skills, Julianna brings a personal passion for horticulture, which complements their role with a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for nurturing growth—both in plants and in students. Outside of work, Julianna enjoys spending time with their pets, including cats, a leopard gecko, and an axolotl. They are also an avid reader, painter, writer, and hiker, finding balance and inspiration in these activities.
